Riff Wiki is a place to write guitar riffs, licks and exercises as plain text tab, so they can be read on any screen without a plugin. It is run by one guitarist, for nothing, in their own time.
Anyone may add or edit a page; no account is needed. Every version is kept in the history under the name you signed with, or under none if you signed with nothing.
What belongs here
Traditional and public-domain tunes, exercises, scales, and riffs you wrote yourself. Short quotations from a copyrighted song where they are needed to show a technique, with the song and its writer named.
What does not
Full transcriptions of songs still in copyright: these are cleared off the page when noticed, though the history keeps what was there before. Links to download sites, tab-scraper mirrors, and "free backing track" advertising.
The tab here was typed in by strangers and may be wrong, badly fingered or in the wrong key. Play it quietly the first time. The wiki may be offline or read-only from time to time, and comes with no warranty at all.
